rock steady

I went to rock the bells on saturday and it was definitely the highlight of my summer--complete satisfaction.

Here are my highlights in shorthand.
Got there around 3 and missed Rakim but made it in time to see some of De La Soul. Remained in the pit for a while. Everyone killed it. Black Eyed Peas came out as the special guest and it was awesome because they did songs from behind tha front and pre sell out fergie shit.Pharcyde was amazing even though they didn't play my favorite song, otha fish. Missed mos def to meet tribe called quest in the VIP tent. Used up my drink coupons while waiting in line. drunk when i finally met them, the best 5 seconds ever. Walked over to see if MF Doom was on at the 2nd stage and people were booing and said he was supposed to go an hour ago. Those people waiting were idiots and missed Nas to see a fake MF doom lip sync with a mask on and boo him off.
wait till 1:20 when fools start buggin out

Ran over to Nas while hearing all the jams, feeling amazing. Got back to our spot in the pit in time to see the rest of his set and tribe. Qtip came out and did some of his new album as well as sucka n---a and vivrant thing. Then tribe came out and everyone went crazy. Then it ended and I felt complete.

I got a lot of videos but all you can hear is the overpowering bass. Only two videos i took during Ghostface and Raekwon came out decent.

:)

It's really nice seeing that girls who were younger than me in high school are going places in life. They really show me that going to college is unnecessary when you can be an American Apparel model and just party all the time. Getting the chance to make love to Dov Charney would be a blessing.

On another note, this song is a classic

i hate santa monica and all that is 310

The westside fucking sucks. and I have to come all the way over here everyday for work. I don't care if its where the beach is, it's whack as hell. All the "bohemian" InDiE rich private school kids in fur coats and cheasy motherfuckers on the 3rd street promenade. I think the reason I never fit in at middle school was because the school was 1. it was on the westside 2. I am not like those fools. I remember the mothers who dressed like their 13 year old daughters in platform flip fops.

My side of town is cool because it's near hollywood, near downtown, silverlake, echopark, all the cool shit and venues clubs whatever. There is culture here, no culture what so ever on the west side. Just "indie kids" taking polaroids in tree houses. I'd rather not go to the beach a lot than live in a shitty, depressing area of LA.

Okay, it's not as depressing as the valley but it still sucks

best show on television

If you haven't discovered Baldwin Hills yet, you are fucking miss out.
I would definitely say this is the best show on TV right now. It's like Laguna Beach just not annoying white bitches complaining about other bitches and getting their nails done. This show is on BET on tuesday nights and it's the highlight of my week. Unlike Laguna Beach or The Hills this show is entertaining and fun.

The opening is so good. "Not all black people live in the hood, some live in big houses with amazing vistas. We are the sons and daughters of doctors, lawyers and athletes...This is the black Beverly Hills"

Watch out for Moriah, he is the sexiest.

Current jam: Touchtone
(right click save as this shit is a banger)

This is from Daedelus' new album: Love to Make Music to. It's fucking legit. More dancey, more R&B and hiphop. Paperboy is on a few tracks and I'm assuming it's the same paperboy who did Ditty, a jam from the early 90's.

And if you haven't discovered Skreemr
You need to because you can get almost any song without going on limewire (for us at work with firewalls)

ok thats it
